🏀 Exciting News for Cardinal Fans! 🏀 Dear Parents and Guardians, We are thrilled to announce that this summer, we will be hosting our annual Sports Camp for young athletes boys/girls grades 2-6! Whether your child is a seasoned player or just starting out, our camp offers a fantastic opportunity to improve skills, have fun, and grow as an athlete. 📅 Dates: rescheduled from July 1-2 to [Aug 1-2] 🕒 Time: [8am-12pm] 📍 Location: [Cardinal Gymnasium] 👦👧 Age Group: Grades 2-6 boys/girls 💲 Cost: [40] Our experienced coaching staff will provide instruction in all aspects of the game, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. We are sharing the results from our recent 4 day calendar survey for your information. We appreciate everyone who took the time to give us feedback. It was valuable information that the board was able to consider and discuss. After careful consideration, and keeping the safety and well being of all children as our first concern, we will not be moving forward at this time with any changes to our school calendar. The Lingleville Lady Cardinals are hosting their first Littles' Camp this July 1st and 2nd! The camp is open to all LISD girls entering 2nd through 6th grade. Campers will get the full Lady Cardinal experience by working with our Varsity players and coaches! There will be lots of fun activities and games in Volleyball and Basketball. Campers will receive a camp t-shirt, bottled water and snacks with their $40 registration fee. The fee can be paid online through June 20th on CheddarUp using the QR code on this form. Please send a picture of your form to Brandon Haught, bhaught@lingleville.us before June 20th. We hope to see you there! Go Lady Cardinals!

Dear parents and families, Your child took the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR®) earlier this spring, and soon you will receive your child’s results. The state assessment is one of many ways to measure student learning. Teachers will use STAAR results along with other information to support your child’s learning in the new school year. Beginning June 7 for STAAR end-of-course assessments and June 14 for STAAR grades 3–8 assessments, you will be able to access your child’s STAAR results by logging into the Parent Portal. After logging in, you will see an icon labeled TEXAS ASSESSMENT. This will take you directly to your child’s STAAR results, which will include detailed information for each test question, identifying your child’s strengths as well as areas where your child may need additional support. Families have shared that seeing which questions their child got right and wrong has been the most useful. You will also see easy-to-use resources to help your child focus on the skills they most need help with and can work on at home. When you meet with your child’s teacher in the fall, use this information along with your own observations from the past year and your child’s grades to create a plan to help your child succeed. We will be having our JrH and HS athletic awards banquet Tuesday, May 14 in the school cafeteria. Lingleville Athletic Booster Club will be offering a meal to be served prior to the LISD JH/HS Athletic Awards Banquet, the meal will be priced by plate and will be served as a pasta bar - including spaghetti and spiral noodles, your choice of sauce (marinara, meat sauce, Alfredo, or chicken Alfredo), salad, bread, drink (tea, water, or lemonade) and dessert. Meal prices are $8 (12 and up) and $5 for children (ages 5-11) when you RSVP by May 1st. Please select Family Member Meal for ages 12 and up and select Sibling Meal for children ages 5-11 as your RSVP. All LJH and LHS Athletes, Coaches, and LISD Employees will receive a meal compliments of Lingleville Athletic Booster Club. Please select Athlete Meal for your RSVP.
